Theresa Brown has worked in the health care industry for 25 years, with extensive experience in acute care hospital and private practice settings. Her educational background includes undergraduate nursing education at Mount St. Mary’s College. She later graduated Sigma Theta Tau with a Masters Degree in Nursing in the specialty of acute care from the University of California, Los Angeles where she currently is an Assistant Clinical Professor, School of Nursing. She is also board certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Theresa is a Past President of the California Association for Nurse Practitioners where she served as President from March 2006 through March 2008. Her experience with CANP has driven her passion for advocacy and promoting the nurse practitioner profession in California.
