BLS
Basic Life Support (BLS) is training intended and designed for healthcare providers and public safety professionals.
With a BLS certification, you will be meeting a range of different licensing and certification requirements.
BLS is the suitable class to choose if you are a healthcare provider, a nurse or physician, a police officer, or a firefighter. With a BLS certification, you will have the proper training to help improve patient outcomes.
The BLS program offered includes all standard scientific learning objectives required in professional resuscitation courses. You will also learn to operate smoothly and efficiently within a team, make quick decisions, think critically about the situation at hand, as well as properly do debriefings and evaluations of action taken.
The BLS class is offered in a modular fashion, so you can match your BLS certification program to your needs.
CPR
Once you are CPR certified, you will be trained to respond properly and efficiently in an emergency situation where someone needs help with a cardiac or breathing emergency. Having proper CPR training is being prepared to save lives.
After successfully completing the CPR class you will be able to:
- Use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- Know how to act to help someone suffering a cardiac arrest
- Know how to act to help someone who has trouble breathing or has stopped breathing altogether
First AID
The First Aid class will give you the training and skills necessary to help people (adults and children or infants) in a wide range of emergency situations.
You will learn response protocols for several emergency situations, such as accidents, and how to care and maintain a patient’s condition as well as possible until medical help arrives. By knowing First Aid, you will be increasing people’s chances for a good outcome, fewer complications, and better quality of life.
Classes are available online and in-person, as well as in a blended format so you can have hands-on experience.
