Patients can expect to whiten their teeth about 2-3 shades depending on the concentration of the bleaching agent that is applied. If you are interested in bleaching, it should be done around 1-2 weeks prior to completing any fillings that you may require as whitening only affects natural tooth structure and does not impact the shade of any fillings that you may have.
