Laser Technology

A world of laser dentistry is available at Dr. Young’s office. Our patients have found that laser dentistry is an alternative to some surgical procedures, which required anesthetic. It is minimally invasive and allows most patients to return to their daily routine faster after treatment.

Benefits

  • Area being treated is decontaminated and sterilized to reduce bacterial infection
  • Clotting occurs quickly and less bleeding is noted
  • Some procedures do not require anesthetic
  • Some procedures do not require sutures/stitches
  • Light spectrum allows for healing of damaged cells

Magnification Glasses

These high tech loupes are designed to magnify an image from 5-10 times it’s actual size. Allowing doctor to create beautiful restorations.

Intraoral Camera

This camera is designed to show our patients what we are seeing. It’s a brilliant way of teaching and sharing. It allows us to video and take still photos of anything in the oral cavity. The photo gets stored in history and can be used many different ways to assist the patient with learning, identifying changes, dental claims and a variety of tasks.

Digital Radiographs

Different from traditional X-rays, digital images reduce the exposure of radiation by 70% to the patient. Images are stored in history and are completely available for use.

Curing Light

The Plasma Arc technology is a curing light with a very specific wavelength. It sets resins in 10 seconds, allowing your jaw muscles and joint to not be over exerted during dental procedures.

High Tech Equipment

All of our instruments are sterilized between each patient with techniques that use the latest technology for your safety.

Sterilization

Your safety is our priority. Our office uses state of the art techniques to keep everyone safe. An outside agency monitors our techniques for sterilization through our autoclave. Many of our items are single use for you and replaced with each and every patient, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
