Meet Dr. Irina Gulerez

Dr. Gulerez places utmost importance on her patients’ satisfaction and comfort. Her priority is providing gentle, personalized care to help you achieve your dental healthcare goals. She believes in combining excellent diagnostic skills with an honest, friendly approach to patient education so you can have the knowledge you need to maintain a healthy smile. She enjoys working with patients of all ages to maximize their dental health and boost their well-being.
I personally spend a lot of time with patients at the treatment planning stage to make sure they fully understand their options and choose what is best for them, and what they prefer for their teeth.
In order to offer the highest quality of comprehensive care, Dr. Gulerez attends numerous innovative courses and seminars annually to further her clinical skills across all aspects of dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and Seventh District Dental Society.
In addition to continual learning, Dr. Gulerez is also passionate about teaching. She currently serves as a clinical instructor at the University of Rochester’s Eastman Dental Institute and delivers lectures nationally and internationally. Her clinical and research work has been published in various dental journals. Dr. Gulerez relocated to the greater Rochester area from Montreal, Canada, where she received her dental degree with honors at McGill University. She also holds a Master’s degree in Biochemistry and has pursued advanced clinical training at the University of Rochester. She enjoys cycling, and Rochester’s numerous biking paths and nature won her over.
