FAQs
We do offer “laughing gas” or Nitrous Oxide to help with anxiety during your appointment. Our team has been trained to be very gentle and reassuring to help even the most anxious of patients. We are happy to offer an IPod and headphones, neck rests and the best hand holding out there. There are other options, like medication, that we can discuss if needed and have found that most of our patients have not felt the need for them.
Here, at Gold River Smiles, we like to consider your first visit with us a “New patient experience”. Our goal is to make you feel completely at home and welcomed. We will use this opportunity to get to know you and allow you to get to know us. We will, of course, plan for taking the necessary radiography, performing an oral evaluation and providing an initial cleaning. Our hygienist will help to access the health of your gums and make recommendations for any additional periodontal treatment while Dr. Nima will thoroughly evaluate the overall health of your mouth. You will have the opportunity to discuss treatment options and create a plan that works for you.
We accept all PPO/Indemnity insurance plans. We are contracted with many dental insurances. We are happy to bill your insurance for you and provide estimates of what your share of cost will be.
Dr. Nima has been in practice since 2010. He became the owner of Gold River Smiles in June 2015.
