Dr. Atkins graduated from Georgia State University with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. She graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in our nation's capital, in 2007 and completed her residency at St. Vincent Charity Hospital/Saint Luke's Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She has been practicing for over 16 years, dedicating part of that time teaching dental students at Howard University as well as working in private practice.
