Meet Allen P. Shapiro, DDS

Dr. Allen P. Shapiro is a Philadelphia native and attended Temple University for his undergrad degree. He graduated from Temple University Dental School in 1966. Dr. Shapiro was in a general practice residency at Philadelphia Veterans’ Hospital. After completing this advanced dentistry training, he was inducted into the US ARMY Dental Corp. Stationed in South Korea, he was the ranking general dentist at the main dental facility in Seoul. After this, he had a tour of duty at Fort Hamilton Brooklyn, NY. Assigned to the Army’s Dental center in Manhattan. He started his present practice in 1970.

Dr. Shapiro enjoys tennis, golf, playing his guitar, especially with his daughter, a professional musician, archery and anything to do with his 7 grandchildren.
